Senator Rubio worries classified UFO program run by 'military complex' that 'accountable to no one'
Speculation is rampant as US lawmakers continue to voice their own opinions about the explosive claims of an illegal, hidden UFO crash retrieval program made public this month by Air Force and intelligence agency veteran David Grusch. Congressman and Marine veteran Mike Gallagher let loose his own theories on the mystery this Tuesday, suggesting that UFOs might be time-traveling craft piloted by humans from the future, as in the 1984 film'The Terminator.' Appearing on ESPN analyst Pat McAfee's sports talk show, the Wisconsin Republican also floated his hypothesis that the unexplained phenomena'could actually be an ancient civilization that's just been hiding here and is suddenly showing itself.' But Rep. Gallagher also brought the conversation back down to Earth, airing his concerns that the airborne mysteries might prove to be breakthrough aerospace technology mastered by a US foreign adversary. 'I'm probably the most interested in is whether it's adversary technology, particularly from China,' said Gallagher, who is also the chair of the House Committee on the Chinese Communist Party. Whether or not we are alone in the universe, the congressman is not alone among his fellow lawmakers in openly airing his UFO concerns.

MIT's New Algorithm That Can Decipher Ancient Languages
In a few of my previous articles, I have discussed how technology has helped us to better understand the history behind many lost cultures and civilizations. However, today I am excited to present you with a new stage within this technological trend that will help us unveil so many mysteries from ancient history. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has just created an algorithm that can decipher ancient languages without the input of any sort of data. This sort of new technological trend is known as machine learning and it can be simply defined as an algorithm that can, in simple terms, teach itself. Enginers from MIT that have worked on this algorithm for some time state that they have perfected it in such a way that it can read ancient languages without any information about the culture of the language or other relations the language may have to other similar ancient languages.

Great spirits have always faced violent opposition from mediocre minds. - Albert Einstein
Great spirits have always faced violent opposition from mediocre minds. Fuzzy or Techie?! Why #AI needs more interdisciplinary thinkers @IBMthinkLeaders https://t.co/ZggRLF45zv Becuase who (trolls) has time to read and fact check and their only job is to attack and harass . Unknown faces hounded me and made personal attacks, labelled me as Left wing marxist while everyone knows I am a staunch BJP supporter and believe in Modiji's vision for India. Going to IIT next month and have only one advice for Techies- Read more of Philosophy #books:-) Netizsche, Arthur Schopenhauer, Kant, Plato, Hegel -- Ruchi (@rucsb) April 30, 2019 Please add Adhi Shankara, Vivekananda, Kautilya, Panini to that list?
Ancient civilizations' fascination with AI, robots, and synthetic life
Some 2,500 years before movies were invented, ancient Greek vase painters illustrated popular stories of the bronze robot warrior Talos, the techno-wizard Medea, and the fembot Pandora dispatched to earth on an evil mission, in ways that seem very "cinematic..." Movies and myths about imagined technology are cultural dreams. Like contemporary science fiction tales, the myths show how the power of imagination allows humans to ponder how artificial life might be created--if only one possessed sublime technology and genius. We can see "futuristic" thinking in the myths' automated machines and tools, self-driving chariots, self-navigating ships, metal robots powered by special fluids, and AI servants made of gold and silver. Another similarity to sci-fi tales is that the myths warn about disturbing consequences of creating artificial life.
